Lou and Her Friends is a photography based children's story centered around a one-eyed kitten, Lou, who is rescued and meets her new best friend, Edie (a house cat); together, they grow a friendship and have many adventures. Towards the end of the story, she meets her long-lost brother, Dylan, who is also a one-eyed cat who has traveled the world to find Lou. This coming-of-age story inspires children to find beauty, acceptance, and empowerment in their own and others' unique features and differences.
