is a photographer based between NYC and the woods of Pennsylvania.

Olivia Locher is known for her sarcastic approach to studio photography, with a strong emphasis on color, concept, and a distinctly dry sense of humor. Her images often explore gender, domestic space, and the quiet absurdities embedded in everyday life.
​
A long time practitioner of Transcendental Meditation, her photographs are rooted in dream states and consciousness, while Olivia herself is generally dreaming.
​
She breathes carefully and dances very rarely.
​
Her first book, I Fought the Law, published by Chronicle Books, is available now.
